Prezantuam para të gjithë të pranishmëve vendas e të huaj punën që do na ndiqte përgjatë 7 ditëve të ardhshme.\nKjo ceremoni njëkohësisht u përcoll me ekspozitën kolektive “Je dhe S’je” ku pamë nga afër talentin e të rinjve krijues të grupmoshës 11-17 vjeç nga regjioni i Ferizajt. Nga gjithsej 30 vepra unike të ekspozuara\, katër veprat më të dalluara u shpërblyen nga Ministria e Kulturës\, Rinisë dhe Sportit.\nNjë ndër objektivat e këtij edicioni\, që është promovimi i të drejtave të barabarta dhe integrimi i të gjithë individëve në shoqëri\, u konsolidua me hapësirën e veçantë koncertale që u mbajt nga tre të rinj të veçantë\, e të talentuar në fushën e muzikës\, që i dhanë jetë ceremonisë sonë të hapjes.\n\n\nNa ndiqni në vazhdim për të parë aktivitetet që shënuan Edicionin e VII të Festivalit të Muraleve – On(OFF)Line.\n\n\n @DonitAvdyli\n\n\n———–\n\n\nOn May 7th\, the opening ceremony of the 7th Edition of the Festival of Murals – On (OFF) Line was held. We presented to all local and foreign attendees the work that would follow us over the next 7 days.\nThis ceremony was simultaneously followed by the collective exhibition “Je dhe S’je” where we witnessed up close the talent of young creators aged 11-17 from the region of Ferizaj. The mural presented is titled “Kantarion” a masterpiece of the American artist\, Zane Prater. Through “Kantarion” Zane points ouz the connection between humans and the surrounding environment\, and the unification of the body with nature.\n\n\nAttached below is the concept of the artwork by the author himself\, Zane PRATER.\n\n\n“Working off of the theme “on/offline” this piece represents connection\, disconnection\, and the act of tuning into your physical body and the landscape that you inhabit.\n\n\nIt is a depiction of Kantarion\, also known as St. John’s Wort\, a medicinal plant traditionally used in Kosovo to help with anxiety\, depression\, and other ailments. Dridali e paraqet Leartin për atë që ai është- një muzikant i talentuar me shpirt artistik.\n\n\nMë poshtë gjeni konceptin e veprës artistike sipas fjalëve të autorit- DRIDALI.\n\n\n“Learti është një pianist i ri nga qyteti i Ferizajt\, Kosovë. Është një artist që\, siç thuhet në flamenco\, ka “duende” – një gjendje e lartësiar e emocioneve dhe shprehjes artistike.\n\n\nArti i muzikës nuk njeh paragjykime. Është një melodi që të ngjeth lëkurën si dhe të emocionon. Këtë mund ta arrijnë vetëm ata me ndjenjë\, pastërti dhe dashuri\, tri fjalë që janë shkruar në fytyrën e mikut tim\, Leart Gashi\, i cili është paraqitur në këtë mural.\n\n\nLearti përfaqëson të gjithë fëmijët e tjerë të talentuar\, e të veçantë\, që kanë kaq shumë për t’i ofruar botës. Ky mural i nderon ata drejtpërdrejt dhe paraqet për atë që janë në të vërtetë – individë të veçantë që janë në të vërtetë të aftë për gjëra të mrekullueshme.”\n\n\nFoto referencë Bardha Goga Photographer\n\n\n——–\n\n\nAmong the seven murals painted during this edition of the Festival of Murals\, “Leart’s Piano” by the Spanish artist\, DriDali \, caught the attention of all citizens inside and outside Ferizaj.\n\n\nTo mark this year’s topic- On(OFF)Line which promotes the integration of all individuals in the society\, Dridali decided to paint Leart Gashi\, a young musician who shows us that an extra chromosome makes you more unique. Dridali pictures Leart for who he is- a talented musician with an artistic spirit.\n\n\nYou will find below the concept of the artwork according to the words of the author- DRIDALI.\n\n\n“Leart is a young pianist from the city of Ferizaj\, Kosovo. He is an artist who\, as the flamencos say\, has “duende”- an elevated state of emotion and artistic expression.\n\n\nThe art of music does not acknowledge prejudice. It is a melody that makes your skin crawl and excites you. Only those with feeling\, purity and love can achieve it\, three words that are written on the face of my friend Leart Gashi\, who is pictured in this mural.\n\n\nLeart represents all the other talented\, special kids who have so much to offer to the world. Maximiliano na la me një vepër e cila përforcon identitetin e qytetit të Ferizajt\, i cili tashml ka filluar të njihet si “Qyteti i Muraleve” edhe ndërkombtarisht.\n\n\nPrezantojmë para jush “Mona Lisa of Kosovo”\, murali i 3-të i punuar përgjatë On(OFF)Line\, konceptin e të cilit e gjeni më poshtë sipas fjalëve të autorit- MAXIMILIANO BAGNASCO.\n\n\n“Mona Lisa of Kosovo” është një mural i cili është skicuar me kujdes menjëherë pasi bota filloi të zhveshej nga izolimi i paraqitur nga pandemia e fundit.\nMasat e izolimit dhe distancimit të paraqitura nga situata e pandemisë nisën një diskutim të vonuar prej kohësh – izolimi ndërpersonal në të cilin njerëzit kanë vënë veten duke u fokusuar vetëm në praninë e tyre virtuale.\n“Mona Lisa of Kosovo” pikturon një vajzë të re\, fytyra e së cilës shfaq emocione të turbulluara\, gjersa mban një kuti xhami ku është pushtuar shpirti i së njëjtës vajzë. E njëjta vajzë duke qenë jashtë dhe brenda kupolës së xhamit përfaqëson përçarjen e ekzistencës së njerëzve në jetë virtuale dhe reale.”\n\n\nFoto referencë @Sovran Nrecaj\n——\n\n\nDuring the 7th edition of the Festival of Murals – On(OFF)Line we had the pleasure to have among us the artist Maximiliano Bagnasco who honored us with his participation. Maximiliano left us with an artwork which strengthens the identity of the city of Ferizaj\, which is now beginning to be internationally known as the “City of Murals”.\n\n\nWe present to you “Mona Lisa of Kososo”\, the 3rd mural painted throughout On(OFF)Line\, the concept of which you can find below in the words of the author – MAXIMILIANO BAGNASCO.\n\n\n“Mona Lisa of Kosovo” is a mural which was carefully sketched right after the world started to unveil itself from the isolation presented by the latest pandemic.\nThe isolation and distancing measures presented by the pandemic situation kickstarted a discussion that has been long overdue- the interpersonal isolation people have put themselves into by focusing only on their virtual presence.\nThe “Mona Lisa of Kosovo” paints a young girl whose face shows confusing emotions\, while holding onto a glass dome where the same girl’s spirit is captured. The glass dome represents the mobile devices\, and screens that have isolated humans from staying in touch with their surroundings. Artisti Britanez\, Gabriel Pitcher\, me mjeshtëri të madhe na u bashkangjit në edicionin e VII të Festivalit të Muraleve dhe na la me një ndër veprat më të dalluara të këtij edicioni.\n\n\nPër të kuptuar më shumë rreth kuptimit pas imazhit të shfaqur në mural\, GABRIEL PITCHER ndan me ne konceptin tekstual të veprës.\n\n\n“Për edicionin e VII të Festivalit të Muraleve të organizuar nga MuralFest Kosova\, na u prezantua tema On(OFF)Line e cila shqyrton dhe krahason realitetin në të cilin jetojmë\, me botën joreale që krijojmë në hapësira dixhitale.\n\n\nPër kontributin tim\, isha i interesuar të kapja boshllëkun midis botës dixhitale dhe asaj fizike. Një vend ku ne banojmë dhe jetojmë jetë paralele\, ku mund të mendojmë se cilin verzion të vetes sonë të parashtrojmë\, ose ta përjashtojmë nga ky ndërveprim.\n\n\nKëtu shohim një mural të madh të një vajze të re që shihet nga afër. Një roletë fletë-fletë errëson dritaren që ajo qëndron pas. Nga përtej pengesës së saj\, ajo vështron me vojeurizëm drejt botës së jashtme. Duke lëvizur poshtë portretit\, një defekt dixhital në imazhe shton një spërkatje ngjyrash për të ripërqendruar vëmendjen tonë – çfarë po shikojmë? A është avatari që shikon nga prapa roletës i krijuar nga përvoja në internet e personit real\, apo është vërtet një përfaqësim i personit në botën reale?\n\n\nKur fillon bota dixhitale të gllabërojë botën reale?”\n\n\n——–\n\n\nAnother mural is added to the city of Ferizaj\, which leaves a wide room for discussion on society’s digital transformation. The British artist\, Gabriel Pitcher\, with great mastery joined us during the 7th edition of the Festival of Murals and left us with one of the most distinguished artworks of this edition.\n\n\nTo understand more about the meaning behind the image displayed on the mural\, GABRIEL PITCHER shares with us the textual concept of the artwork.\n\n\n“For the 7th edition of the Festival of Murals organized by MuralFest Kosovo\, we were presented the theme On(OFF)Line which examines and compares the reality we live in\, with the unreal world we create in digital space.\n\n\nFor my contribution\, I was interested in capturing the void between the digital and physical world. A place which we inhabit and live parallel lives\, where we can consider which version of ourself to introduce\, or hold back from this interaction.\n\n\nHere we see an oversized mural of a young girl seen at close range. A slatted blind obscures the window she stands behind. From beyond her barrier\, she peeks voyeuristically through to the outside world. Moving down the portrait\, a digital glitch in the imagery adds a splash of colour to refocus our attention – what are we looking at? I titulluar “Creation of the Virtual-Like” ky mural pasuron mëtutje koleksionin e edicionit On(OFF)Line.\n\n\nMë poshtë gjeni konceptin e veprës sipas autorit\, THEO MAGMA.\n\n\n“Ky mural titullohet “Creation of the Virtual-Like” dhe shërben për të paraqitur ekzistencën moderne të dyfishtë të njerëzve – jetën reale dhe rrjetet sociale. Është një përpjekje për të nxjerrë në pah imazhin e rremë që njerëzit kanë krijuar mbi veten e tyre\, dhe mjerimin që lihet jashtë këtyre kornizavr.\n\n\nNë njërën anë kam paraqitur një imazh që shfaqet qetësues\, që i ngjan perfeksionit të jetës dhe estetikës idilike të asaj që shfaqet në rrjetet sociale. Duke kaluar në anën e kundërt\, ne përballemi me realitetin po kësaj jete që tregohet krejtësisht ndryshe nga ajo që shohim në fillim. Është një paraqitje e asaj që shtrihet nën fasadën e rrjeteve socisle\, dhe kaosit të jetës reale që fshihet për të mbështetur imazhin e rremë e të përsosur të jetës virtuale.\n\n\nKrejt kjo për një “Like” të thjeshtë që shërben si mekanizëm vlerësues dhe ushqen egon njerëzore. Një mjet që ka transformuar ndërveprimin dhe perspektivën njerëzore.”\n\n\nPhoto @Donit Avdyli\n\n\n—–\n\n\nThe next mural we present to you comes from the Spanish artist\, Theo Magma\, who duly presents one of the topics addressed during the 7th edition of the Festival of Murals- the impact of social platforms and networks on the human personality. Titled “Creation of the Virtual-Like” this mural further enriches the collection of the On(OFF)Line edition.\n\n\nBelow you will find the concept of the artwork according to the author\, THEO MAGMA.\n\n\n“This mural is called “Creation of the Virtual-Like” and it comes as a representation of the modern dual existence of humans- the real life and the social networks. It is an attempt to paint out the false image humans have created upon themselves\, and the misery that is left out of the picture.\n\n\nIn one side\, I have pictured an image that appears calming\, resembling the perfection of the lives and the idyllic aesthetics of what is shown in social networks. Moving to the opposite side\, we find the reality of those lives which is shown totally different from what we see first. It is a representation of what lies under the facade\, and the chaos of the real life that is hidden in order to support the false\, perfect image of the virtual life.\n\n\nAll for a simple “Like” that serves as a tool of validation and feeds the human ego. Nuanca e gjelbërt e muralit ka për qëllim t’i dhurojë gjallëri një pjese të ngulfatur nga betoni\, gjersa imazhet dhe simbolet e paraqitura lidhen direkt me temën e këtij edicioni- On(OFF)Line. Një mural më ndryshe nga tjerët\, por jo më pak i mirëpritur nga komuniteti.\n\n\n​Më poshtë gjeni konceptin e veprës nga autori holandez\, RetryOne.\n\n\n“Murali që punuam unë\, En dhe vajzat nga Spring Flash\, është një interpretim i temës së këtij edicioni të Festivalit të Muraleve – On(OFF)Line.\nPër shkak të disa problemeve logjistike që kishim me materialet\, ne ndërruam tërësisht dhe vendosëm të kthenim skenarin\, që do të thoshte se në vend që të përdornim spray ngjyra ne zgjodhëm vetëm akrilikët. The green nuance of the mural is intended to enliven a concrete suffocated area\, while the images and symbols presented are directly related to the theme of this edition – On(OFF)Line. A mural different from the others\, but not any less welcomed by the community.\n\n\nAttached below you will find the artwork’s concept by the Dutch artist\, RetryOne.\n\n\n“The mural that me\, En\, and the girls from Spring Flash came up with is an interpretation within this edition of the Festival of Murals’ topic- On(OFF)Line.\nDue to some logistical issues we had with materials\, we switched the plan upside down and decided to flip the script\, which meant that instead of using spraycans we opted for acrylics only. The purpose of the lecture was to address the presence of bullying in our society\, especially in schools\, and the ways to prevent it. Along with the sociologist\, Ms. Selmani\, was also Labinot Azemi who shared with the others his experience with bullying\, and how he managed to get rid of the impact of this phenomenon in his life.\n\n\nBullying is a highly disturbing phenomenon and unfortunately quite present in our educational environments. The idea and designs for the murals were built upon the data collected through this research. The murals will be painted during the month of June by the workshop participants themselves. This whole procedure was closely monitored and mentored by the British artist\, Gabriel Pitcher.\n\n\nIn addition to the results that exceeded all expectations\, the workshop “Mural Kolektiv – Lidhja në Komunitet” brought together local youth and broke down barriers that divide communities. Një mik tjetër i imi më tha një herë\, “disa vende janë thjesht portal” dhe këto rrugë të shkurta më kujtuan këtë.\n\n\nI kërkova organizatorëve të MuralFest që të instalonin një derë në një rrugë ku njerëzit kalojnë çdo ditë dhe e fsheha pas saj veprën time\, me shpresën se njerëzit do të bëhen kureshtarë dhe do ta hetojnë se çfarë fshihet pas saj. Dizajni i muralit bazohet lirshëm nga një qëndisje nga Chiapas që bleva në një treg artizanësh në Oaxaca\, Meksikë në fillim të këtij viti. I spent the afternoon of my first day in Ferizaj walking around for hours and I thought of a public art project my friend did in the old quarter of Hanoi\, in Vietnam\, where he incorporated local humor to engage the neighbors with his pieces.\n\n\nThere’s a lot of shortcuts in Ferizaj. Random open doors that you walk through to get to some other place – cut across to the other side of the street – unclear who’s buildings they are (at least to me)\, no one cares. It’s generally a very pedestrian place. Another friend of mine once told me\, “some places are just portals” and the shortcuts reminded me of this.\n\n\nI asked the organizers of MuralFest to install a door where people walk by everyday and I hid my piece behind it\, with the hope people will get curious and investigate. It is loosely based off of an embroidery from Chiapas I bought at an artisan market in Oaxaca\, Mexico earlier this year. The effect of the design is very psychedelic (literally meaning “mind-revealing”) and portal-like\, but my intention is multifold\, because everyone I encountered in Ferizaj expressed to me a desire to travel\, but they are unable to go many places outside of the country due to the political situation. In solidarity with them\, I wanted to share my longing to go to a place I haven’t been.\n\n\nLater\, when discussing my idea with an Artevist\, she told me there is a phrase in Kosovo\, “Mos paç çka me bo\, luje derën!” which means\, “If you don’t know what to do\, play with the door!”\n\n\n Sovran N. A gestural drawing created from the literal translation of each move of this specific game. A game played between two brothers from Ferizaj\, Kosovo. Valentin Uruçi\, current junior champion of Kosovo\, and his older brother Endrit Uruçi\, the youngest Fide Master in Kosovo.\n\n\nThis work is an aesthetical commentary on power and human inter-relations. Throughout this year\, we gave to our citizens several murals that reflect the hidden reality of each of us\, and this time we are continuing this legacy with this sculpture\, the concept of which you can find below.\n\n\n-INFINITY GATE-\n\n\n“Thematically\, this piece is inspired by the concept of On(OFF)Line\, the overarching idea behind this year’s edition of MuralFest Kosova. When presented with this concept\, I immediately thought of the duality we all live with\, the self we present to the outside world\, and the self those who truly know us see. I had a lot of ideas about how to portray that concept in sculptural form\, and I kept coming back to the gates I’ve built in the past. To me\, the gate represents transformation; a passage that symbolizes change. By crossing through you can become a different version of yourself. I have noticed the rapid development the youth of this country are undergoing\, however\, almost every young citizen of this country carries a part of the inherited culture and tradition as passed down and taught by the previous generations.\nWitnessing the isolation that the people of Kosovo face towards the integration to the rest of the world also pushed me further to give them this gate\, one that is finally open and welcoming to them. This time had a great collaboration with the Directorate of Culture\, Youth and Sports in Gjilan to present to all of the citizens of Gjilan two large murals in the center of their city.\n\n\nWe had the honor and pleasure of being hosted by the citizens of this municipality that made us feel at home throughout all of the working days.\n\n\nBogdan Scutaru is the featured artist who painted one of the two amazing murals in the city of Gjilan.\n\n\nBelow you will find the concept of the artwork in the words of the author:\n\n\n“This painting is an exploration of the relationship of one’s personal/inner world\, which may even be the spiritual or psychological\, and the external world.\nThe female character is presented as both realistically and in inverted technique as to symbolise both material and spiritual\, a parallel I drew inspired on this year’s theme of the Festival of Murals- On(OFF)Line.\nOn the other hand\, technology (the antenna array) is presented only in inverted technique\, inviting the viewer to ask the question “is technology an extension of our mind?”. As we question the concept of refuge or home\, this mural wants to represent not only the past in times of war in Kosovo but also draw a line to an actual facing problem we have and how to rethink the future for our young generations and guarantee their rights for a decent and fair childhood. \nAll the sides of the world are connected\, and we see how history is repeated every day. It reminds us to never forget where we came from and as we continue evolving we forever have the need to find the sense of belonging and a sanctuary to call home. \nWhile I was hearing stories of local people the cave took more sense related to the concept of resistance. \nA connection between the cave and traditional elements that I found in the Ethnographic Museum in Gjakova inspired me to paint and merge them within the mural painting\, thus noting genius loci – the spirit of a place.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
