Emily Herr është artistja e parë që patëm nderin ta mirëpresim këtë vit. Ambienti i Universitetit të Shkencave të Aplikuara në Ferizaj pasurohet me muralin e radhës të punuar nga artistja amerikane Emily Herr. MuralFest Kosova qëllimisht zgjodhi këtë ambient për t’iu dhuruar të gjithë studentëve këtë vepër arti përmes të cilit nderohet roli i rinisë vendase në zhvillimin e shoqërisë.

Më poshtë gjeni konceptin e veprës në fjalët e autores së muralit, Emily Herr.

“E shkuara, e Tashmja, Ti

Kosova është një vend i ri me një histori të gjatë. Ky shtet ka bërë një rrugë të gjatë, megjithëse shumë e pranojnë se ka ende vend për përparim. Kosova është një vend i dalluar për popullsinë e saj të re dhe identiteti i saj është në duart e njerëzve të sotëm.

Ky mural është pikturuar në Ferizaj, një qytet i vogël me një rini plot ngazëllim që vendosëm ta nderojmë përmes kësaj vepre artistike.

Muri bosh është një mesazh mundësie për studentët në universitet që do ta shohin këtë në klasë. Ai përfaqëson të gjitha ngjyrat që këta të rinj mund t’i shtojnë këtij kombi. Secili prej tyre do ta “pikturojnë” me përkushtim dhe punë të palodhur.

Në prapavijë kemi skenat e lokacioneve nga rrugëtimi im në Ferizaj, ku rrugët e qytetit janë të ngarkuara dhe afër, dhe sfondi i qëndrueshëm i maleve zbulohet mes ndërtesave.”

Falënderojmë artivistat tanë- Ardian Sadiku, Besmira Fejzullahu, Donit Avdyli dhe Hana Haziri, njëkohësisht studentë të USHAF për bashkëpunim me artisten në pikturimin e muralit, si dhe stafin e Universitetit të Shkencave të Aplikuara në Ferizaj për çdo ndihmë dhe mbështetje gjatë realizimit të muralit.

Emily Herr is the first artist we had the honor of welcoming this year. The environment of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj is enriched with the next mural painted by the American artist Emily Herr. MuralFest Kosova deliberately chose this environment in order to gift the students with this artwork through which we honor and raise the role of the local youth in the progress of the society.

Below you will find the mural’s concept in the words of the author, Emily Herr.

“Past, Present, You

Kosovo is a young country with a long history. It has come a long way, although many approve that there is still room for progress. Kosovo is a country known for it’s young population, and its identity is in the hands of today’s people.

This mural is painted in Ferizaj, a small town with a joyful youth that we decided to honour through the artwork.

The blank wall is a message of possibility to the students in the university who will see this in class. It represents all the colours that these young ones can add to this nation. They will each “paint” it with dedication and hard work.

In the background we have the locations scenes from my introduction to Ferizaj, where the city streets are busy and close, and the consistent background of the mountains is revealed between buildings.”

We thank our ARTivists, at the same time USHAF students for their cooperation with the artist in painting the mural, as well as the staff of the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj for the help and support during the realization of the mural.
